I have a cousin who was born here, raised in HK and now lives in BC. They left Manila when she was a toddler and last I saw her was less than ten years ago. Thanks to Facebook, we somehow got reconnected. When she announced she’d leave her 9-5 job to pursue her dream, I did not realize how dedicated she is about that passion. She started designing tees and opened a store in Etsy. At first she did personalized designs which she later offered to other clients. I even had a design, or at least a statement to put on a shirt but we never got around to push it because things got busy during the holidays last year. Here is my beautiful cousin, Kym:
And then just before July ended, she launched her very own Herro Hachi website and already have clients in BC & other parts of the world. This is a testament of how dreams can drive a person to pursue it. Here’s one of the designs she created:
