We noticed that one celebrity news reporter (yes, someone who reports celebrity news, if I may clarify) have gone too thin you’d think she is a diet pills affiliate. One would think she actually takes these pills and have gone overboard. We all know that television cameras add up to 10% to the actual weight and if she’s too thin on tv, then she probably is in real life. I hope someone would tell her to stop being too obsessed about her weight and how she looks because IMO, she does not look healthy anymore.

When I first saw the suggestion, I could not imagine it. I am a fan of pink but in my head, wearing it with something grey seems sad. So I searched for images and realized it could actually work not only for clothes but also in interior design
Nice! ;D

I have been feeling lethargic the last few days. Maybe because I lack the exercise that my body needs. I do nothing but sit, eat and lie down (and work in between, LOL!). I honestly feel heavy. I am just glad that my BP is already maintained so that is one less worry about my lazy lifestyle. I have been planning to go back to the gym, but yes you guessed it, I can’t even lift my butt to work out! I wonder if I’d get more motivated if we have even just refurbished fitness equipment at home? Nah! I think I will be lazier thinking that the equipment is “just here”.
Someone please push me out of the house!!

This is probably good news to those who forget to think about an email before clicking the send button. I knew it was just a matter of time before Google would actually introduce a “recall” feature similar to that used in Outlook. I am not sure if you have heard of Google Labs, a bunch of experimental features? Well, the Undo Send is one of those features. The Undo Send gives you a few seconds to cancel the sending of email. The default time is 5 seconds but you can change the setting to up to 30 seconds.
To activate, just go to Settings > Labs. Scroll down and choose Enable for the Undo Send feature. Then you can go back to Settings > General and you will find a drop-down button to set the period (see below):

When this feature is enabled, after you have sent the email, this notification will appear and just click Undo.

Enabling this feature though will delay sending emails. Sending becomes a little slower to give way to that time limit, when you have to decide whether you need to recall the message or not. I think a safe period is 10 seconds? What’s your take?
P.S. It is only today that I actually took time to peek into the Labs. I guess I will feature some of them here one by one

I can only imagine how much make-up a celebrity puts on her face on a daily basis and the effort she has to exert to make sure her facial pores are not clogged! It is no wonder a lot of them go out of their way to clean their faces each night and promote beauty clinics (which give them x-deals!) to make sure they won’t suffer from acne. After all, it is their faces that is their main “investment” in this field. I actually get ideas from celebrities from acne products to simple facial foams. I read this morning that a local model uses tea tree facial foam wash and moisturizer. And looking at how good her skin is, maybe I should give this product a try!

Since I left the corporate world, I kind of stopped wearing skirts unless there is an event we need to attend. I would like to go back to wearing skirts so I went ahead and searched for current trends:
These are really nice cuts (the shoes caught my attention too, LOL! And look at these models, you’d think they’re into Appetite suppressant diet pills). I especially like the middle one for an afternoon wedding and the third one looks so chica

Found these cute ghost lamps for sale over at Think Geek:
Can you imagine these “creatures” illuminated and chasing Pac-Man around? Maybe only if you have a vivid imagination, eh? LOL. Anyway, these might work for others but I don’t think this will help people like me with already poor eyesight. And because the charm isn’t there when the lights are off and it is broad daylight, I doubt if I’ll ever own a set – unless it is a gift!

I am not exactly a fan of portable music/video players like the iPod. It is not by choice since I love music but because I always end up dizzy when I use earphones, I have to avoid it. I once owned a Zen, mainly to watch movies in, but I got a lemon unit and never got it back after it conked out (long story). Needless to say, while everyone seems to own ipods, I do not have one. I once gifted the husband with an iPod video and I could count with my ten fingers the number of times I actually used it. But technology has other plans for me I guess. When the husband’s new iPod Touch arrived, I am hooked to it in an instant. I love that I can do other things (read: play Angry Birds, LOL!) than listening to music. Maybe I am ready to re-assess my issues with the players?

Now, why wouldn’t a 24.78 carat emerald cut pink diamond call my attention?! Isn’t she a beauty?
This is in the news as the people from Sotheby’s announced that this rare piece will be up for auction in Geneva next month. The diamond is valued at $38MUSD and is dubbed as one of the most desirable gemstones in the world. The classic emerald cut combined with its remarkable color and exceptional purity makes it an immensely rare stone. Whoever wins the auction must be utterly rich to afford it.
