Something caught my attention last night. It is something that I started lusting over since:
It is not your ordinary SD card for the camera. It is a storage device that has wireless capability. This means there is no need for USB cables because you can just connect to your computer to upload in your folders AND upload to sharing sites like Flickr and Facebook. Isn’t that neat? I am hoping I can get one by the time my sister comes home for a vacation.

I have been hearing raves about the recent Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. I have not seen it, but I already told the husband to download it for me so I can watch. I am pretty sure i will never have the guts the wear the featured lingerie (I am shy like that, bwahaha) but I can perhaps use some inspiration
I am actually waiting for the VS undies I ordered from a friend, but those are tamed ones, not the lacey kind of lingerie.

This is my mom’s current read which she got on her birthday. Here is the product description from Amazon:
I put it to William, particularly, that if you find someone you love in life, you must hang on to that love and look after it. . . . You must protect it. —Diana, Princess of Wales
Theirs was destined from the start to be one of the most celebrated unions of the twenty-first century: he, the charismatic prince who would someday be crowned king of England; she, the stunningly beautiful commoner who won his heart. Prince William and Kate Middleton defied all odds to forge a storybook romance amid the scandals, power struggles, tragedies, and general dysfunction that are the hallmarks of Britain’s Royal Family. In the process, they became the most written about, gossiped about, admired, and envied young couple of their generation.
Yet for most of their nearly decade-long affair, William and Kate have remained famously quiet and kept their royal relationship a tantalizing mystery. Now, as their long-anticipated wedding finally approaches, journalist and #1 New York Times bestselling author Christopher Andersen reveals the intimate details of their celebrated courtship and offers a mesmerizing glimpse of the man and wife—and future king and queen—they will become:
· William’s lifelong role as confidant and adviser to his fragile mother, and how it has shaped his relationship with Kate
· The lengths the couple went to to keep their affair secret, from their first days together as university students (when he cheered her on as she modeled racy lingerie at a fashion show)
· William’s romantic conquests before—and during—his decade-long romance with Kate
· The person who was really behind their headline-making breakup—and how Kate won back her prince
· The shocking sex-and-drugs scandals involving Kate’s wild relatives, and how the would-be queen survived them
· The long-troubling influence of William’s substance-abusing aristocrat friends and the depression Kate rescued him from
· Stunning new information on the threats to both their lives, the nightmare scenario that haunts William’s dreams to this day, and their narrow escape from repeating Diana’s fate
· Surprising details on the Queen’s historic plans for William and Kate, which will forever change the face of the monarchy
For many, William and Kate’s union represents an opportunity to recapture the magic—the compelling and complicated legacy—of his beloved mother Diana, Princess of Wales. Part glittering fairy tale, part searing family drama, part political potboiler, part heart-stopping cliff-hanger, theirs is, above all else, an affair to remember.
Like mom, I am curious about the celebrated couple. I am actually next in line to read the book. I hope she finishes it soon so i can take a look into the love story.

Twitter has become my secret place (at least in my private account). I spend my days there with fellow mommies, wives, and bloggers. I can tell them just about anything and they will understand. Can you believe that I talk to them more often then friends I gained IRL (versus online life). One night, I guess we were all having a bad night that we decided to have some online fun. We sang to our hearts’ content sans karaoke machines! It was nice pretending we were in the same room, yet even if it was just pretention, I felt their presence that night. I must say it was one of the most fun nights I’ve had in months!
Technology does this to you. Imagination is limitless!

The family of former model Lala Flores are probably still passing cigars to friends and relatives fort he good news they received this weekend. Their daughter Danica Flores Magpantay who is 17 years old, a UP Fine Arts student, and stands 5’9" & weighs 109 lb won the prestigious model search in New York. Danica bested models from over 50 countries in the international modeling contest established by Eileen Ford in 1980.
This was the first time that a Filipina has bagged the title. Last year, Charlene Almarvez won 1st runner-up, while Charo Ronquillo placed 3rd in 2006. Indeed, Filipinas are beautiful!

Speaking of the Golden Globes, here are some ladies who graced the red carpet in their stunning gowns:
Other than waiting for winners to be announced, I anticipate the fashion show that is the Red Carpet when there are awards nights like the Golden Globes. The images clearly did not disappoint because the celebrities looked really fabulous, except for some, hehe. I could only wish and pray for weight loss supplements that work before I can actually wear a nice fitting dress.

I only saw parts of it yesterday morning, on a delayed (for a few minutes) telecast on the cable channel. I could not focus on the show because I was rushing some things (been rushing on a lot of stuff these days!) so I decided to just check out the winners later on. Yay for Kurt, Sue and Glee
Also happy to have heard that Natalie won. Note to self: catch Black Swan.

I was flipping channels last night when I came across a Lifestyle Channel special. It features fifteen celebrities who successfully lost the excess weight they were carrying. I was not able to finish it (because DD wanted Playhouse Disney!) but I got to see Alison Sweeney, Alanis Morissette, Ricki Lake, and Matt Damon. I say, I got impressed by their dedication and drive to get fit. I know that to achieve the same, it would have to be a combination of discipline, good diet and physical activities like cardio exercises, running, iron pumping and some great ab workouts. Sounds really hard, but whoever said it is going to be easy? I.need.to.do.this.

According to Vogue, Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively was chosen as the new ambassador of Chanel’s Mademoiselle handbag line. Starting this March, campaign spreads will launched with photos of Blake as she posed behind the lens of Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld. Lively, 23, was quoted
"Though I am the face of it (the bag), I will carry it like every girl. I will always feel it’s more than just a purse. It’s a quilted case full of lipstick, love letters, and the dreams and possibilities that I have always felt every time I see that beautiful ‘CC.’"
She will join the ranks of other famous faces in previous Chanel campaigns like Lily Allen, Nicole Kidman, Audrey Tautou, Vanessa Paradis and Diane Kruger.

Speaking of the environment, it’s scary how it has gone wonky these past few years. We hear news these days of the floods in Brisbane and Queensland in Australia, when they almost always have a sunny weather. A storm with accompanying flash floods seemed far fetched, but it is happening. Then a couple of weeks ago, it was snowing in a California Valley, near Los Angeles (good thing a friend had an electric blanket in their closet to warm them up!). It is generally warm there (compared to some high lands) so it was a surprise to actually see snow.
Let’s keep praying for our one and only Earth. And of course, we owe it to the planet to save it by doing even just little steps to conserve natural resources.
