I have been out of the loop for a few days because we moved houses and we are now in the process of fixing up the new place. While we have local tv (cable to be connected today I hope) and internet was up the day we moved in, I do not have the luxury of time until was are fully done with the house. And I am dead tired at night, too.

So what’s up with the world these days? How about in Hollywood? Are there celebrities who are known to be using electronic cigarette flavoring chemicals? I’ve heard of Lindsay Lohan’s predicament, but that was so last week, right? In the not so local front, I heard The Pacman have already met The Obama. I am not sure how much I am missing but I actually enjoy not having to watch tv at all

One thing I noticed once again in our short stay in Singapore is the efficiency of the transportation system. I actually booked a hotel that’s near a 3-way MRT interchange and it could have been convenient if we utilized it more (another story). Anyway, we got around riding cabs and the drivers are really friendly and chatty, except for the second to the last taxi cab driver. On our last night, we had to visit a friend outside of the city, with all our luggage, before heading to the airport. The cabbie was hesitant at first because he thought we were going to the airport already but I think he can’t deny us the ride (is it illegal to avoid passengers based only on the destination). Our friend, when we got there, mentioned how efficient our trip from the hotel was. I just said that the driver was focused on the road (refused to talk to us!) and he utilized a gps, or was it a simple map?

Back to the efficiency of the transportation system, I think we will have to maximize it the next time we are in Singapore. The last trip was with my MIL, who could not walk fast enough along the pedestrian lanes so we had to avoid mishaps by riding cabs instead. Saved us time and energy too (but not money, LOL). So commuting around would be a nice experience next time.

My order was waiting for me when we got back from Singapore. I must say that I am happy with my loots and the waiting was worth it. I was antsy about the size but I tried one on and it fit perfectly on my sorry hips. Come to think of it, I should have ordered a dozen instead of just six pieces. It was on sale anyway. I will do better next time

I got sidetracked once again, sorry for not updating. I was out of the loop for a few days, not because I was looking for management jobs. We went on a short trip to Singapore, is why. It was a wonderful vacation because the little had so much fun! I am still on vacation mode, it might tale a while until I get my groove back. Plus we need to move to a new apartment so that will take a lot of my time too for the next few days. I will try to get back on track slowly
