Speaking of jewelry, have you got any idea already what to give to the mothers in your life this coming May? Why not give them personalized rings, like the ones found in Red Envelope?
I say these are really gorgeous gold and silver mother rings that the mothers will surely appreciate. I actually would not mind receiving one from my DH and DD. I showed the site to my friend and she said she already placed orders for her mommy and mother in-law. She ordered early so the rings are sure to arrive before May.

Have you seen these pieces from the Vivienne Westwood S/S 2011 Jewelry Collection?
Aren’t they gorgeous? The pieces are unconventional and interesting, very Vivienne Westwood I must say. I would love to receive that silver bracelet!

I have been having a hard time sleeping at night. There are nights that I did not have to work but I would still find myself wide awake and my brain working double-time. If I keep up with this, I might need to know how to get rid of dark circles under my eyes. I am like a zombie at day-time, so sluggish too. Tonight is not an exception. It is almost 2am and I am far from being sleepy. I need to get some shut-eye because we are meeting my HS best friend for lunch later. I guess I will have to force myself to sleep now.

It all started when I got curious about image posts from Twitter friends. They were raving about how nice photos turn out after using Instagram. I had access to see their pictures but not the comments that come after posting them. That was as far as I went, getting curious, since I did not have an iPhone or an iPod Touch for myself. The husband has a 4th gen Touch, though, and I remember mentioning this to him, without insisting he install the App. But he did install it, so I finally decided to sign up
That was just a week ago and now I’ve posted 34 photos since then
Am I hooked or what?! I even bought photo app to supplement my IG fix. And DD now has competition over the Touch, LOL!
Anyway, Instagram is a micro-social networking App where users share pictures. The free App comes with filters that give those pictures the retro-feel. Followers may comment and like fellow users’ photos. This is such a nifty tool because instead of describing something in 140 characters, a user can simply post a photo and the image can say it all
As a friend said, Flickr and Twitter had a one-night stand and they bore Instagram, nicknamed IG

A friend mentioned about following a detoxification diet. I forgot to ask her about it and I should be reminded to ask her the next time we see each other again. I feel bloated these days that I feel I need a colon cleanse detox myself. I know of a program offered in a high-end farm down South but the one-week stay is pretty expensive. This is why I am looking for alternatives. Any suggestions?

Yesterday I was talking to a friend whose husband’s birthday is in a few days. She has been preparing for a small party at their house that she totally forgot to buy him a gift! Because she is already busy with all the preparations for the party, she asked for gift suggestions and if I would kindly get it for her. Of course I did not mind since I am on my way to the mall later today and we are going to his party anyway, so why not? Before we ended our chat session, we decided we should get him the new garmin nuvi gps. See the husband needs this device to keep him on track. A typical male, he refuse to ask for directions, so having his own gps can save him his dignity, would you agree? LOL!

I am awed by Hollywood celebrities who are clearly smart and takes education seriously. Who would have thought that these individuals actually went (or are still going) to an Ivy League school? It only means that show business is truly something they are passionate about and not just a job.

Even if we were at the beach early this month, I think summer has just truly began this week. Imagine having to endure the heat, temperature hit 33C the other day! For a lot of girls (like me, because I already needed some for the trip), swimsuit shopping happened weeks ago. If you haven’t yet, before you keep those spa covers, check out some of the swimsuits for this season:

Son of local actress Tessie Tomas is making a name of his own in New York. Young Designer Robin Tomas launched his award-winning shirt in Bloomingdale’s NY over the weekend. His design, described as a “V-neck tee in layered tonal Supima cotton knit” won the Best Reinvention of the Men’s T-Shirt at the Supima Design Competition in the same city. Robin was one of the six finalists in that competition. According to the Supima blog, Robin “previously worked as a menswear designer at the Gap, Tommy Hilfiger and J. Crew. He graduated from Parsons School of Design, and interned at Valentino and Anna Sui. In the Philippines, he launched the couture label Tomas and showed his women’s wear collection during Fashion Week in 2009”.
Good job, Pinoy!
