It happens all the time, when I get back from a vacation my brain would get an extension and stop functioning properly for the next few days. That’s what happened to me yesterday, that even looking at zero turn mowers for something that I am working on, also took a toll on me. On the side, I was staring at the photos from the trip and reading tweets.
Someone tweeted about the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. We tuned in to CNN and the footages literally made me stop everything else. It was heartbreaking.
The above image is just one of the many photos. The rest make me cry and fear for everyone. What is happening to the world? We can only pray that we are spared from future catastrophes like this. But who knows? The east cost of the Philippines was issued tsunami warnings but is not lifted. Thank God it did not cause too much damage to us. Let us continue praying for the Japanese and all of humanity.

Ever since I finished reading My Sister’s Keeper, I was curious about the other books by Jodi Picoult as well. Most, if not all of her stories revolves around families and the author is not too afraid to tell about controversial issues. I finished reading Perfect Match and Nineteen Minutes, too. While the stories are pretty hard on emotions, I read the stories and found myself gripped by them. Perfect Match tackled pedophilia (even ones committed by a clergyman) and Nineteen Minutes is about bullying and massacre. I am planning to read the rest of the books.
Titles: Songs of the Humpback Whale (1992), Harvesting the Heart (1994), Picture Perfect (1995), Mercy (1996), The Pact (1998), Keeping Faith (1999), Plain Truth (2000), Salem Falls (2001), Perfect Match (2002), Second Glance (2003), My Sister’s Keeper(2004), Vanishing Acts (2005), The Tenth Circle (2006) Nineteen Minutes (2007), Change of Heart (2008), Handle With Care (2009), House Rules (2010) — the last four of which debuted at number one on the New York Times bestseller list, – and her newest novel, SING YOU HOME (2011).

I am into shoes these days, I dunno why. I think DD needs a new pair of dress shoes and another for casual days out. This morning, I let her wear the gladiator sandals we bought in SG, but I am shocked that they do not fit anymore. She hasn’t worn them yet! So instead of window shopping for ceiling fans for the angels’ room, I am online looking at toddler shoes (and some for me too, LOL!). Really, girls cannot have too many pairs, right? These are nice:

PediPed Sandals
Old Navy Gladiator Sandals

Yes, Steve Jobs is done presenting the second generation iPad.
But fans will have to wait until March 11 for orders to be placed (March 25 will be the International release). Even before we could get our hands on this new baby, the features can make us all drool already. See that I am including myself, huh? I am still wishing for one that is why.
