Speaking of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg introduced Timeline at his recent F8 Keynote speech. This new Facebook feature will put your account activity chronologically and in a nice-looking, visually pleasing way. Think personal website but in FB. I am sure a lot of people will question the privacy settings but it is assured that the contents can be individually set with privacy options. Here’s the supplemental video of the Timeline so you can get an idea:

Timeline is not yet available to everyone but I heard you can try it but going through the apps developers’ tool (expect some bugs though, as it is still in beta). Me? I think I will just wait

On Wednesday, I was lounging with my DD when I thought of logging in my Facebook Account. I was kinda disoriented because something definitely changed. I was confused! A few minutes later, I found out I was not alone as other people started complaining about it. Apparently, the developers changed the User Interface and it got confusing (just like any other change, I guess?). The reactions were violent that I thought there would be some sort of Wholesale Insurance claims from people who got a heart attack. LOL. Of course I am exaggerating! And just like in a revolution, a lot of people thought of resisting this change by finding a possible solution of bringing back the old layout. Normal reaction, if I may say. But knowing Mr. Zuckerberg, there’s no changing his mind anyway so it is a take it or leave it scenario. I choose to just take it (after I’ve calmed down LOL) and just start getting used it.

So nice! I think these would work nicely with the two pair of boots my sister sent me. But again, our weather does not permit tights, unless I want to sweat like a pig. ;p

Would you agree that 2011 is the year of the War of the tablets? Apple’s iPad  first generation probably started it all but only at the launch of the iPad 2 did the other companies got more aggressive in their marketing. Who would not try to satiate the gadget freak community after knowing that the iPad sold nearly 15 million units in just nine months? Now there’s Apple’s iPad 2, HP’s TouchPad, Motorola’s Xoom, Blackberry’s PlayBook, Huawei’s S7 Slim tablets, HTC’s Flyer, Lenovo’s LePad, Asus’ Eee Series tablets, LG’s G-Slate and more.

I can foresee that the number 1 item in the Christmas wish lists this year is one of the listed above. 

The Paypal issue I was talking about in the previous post was finally resolved. I also already refunded the money DH’s friend sent. I am not sure if this happened after I contacted Paypal about it, though. The seller said they already cancelled the transaction at their end but I am not sure if they cancelled it in the PP account at the same time? I think that’s what kept the money floating. Anyway, alls well that ends well. I am glad we are able to resolve this already.
