The other day, I saw a tweet from a fellow alumna about the launch of St. Scholastica Swatch watch. Now I am a sucker for all things limited/special/commemorative edition (that I wish I am uber rich to afford everything that catches my fancy, LOL!). Of course I got interested! So I asked the husband if he could check it out for me after his work yesterday. He reported that even if the watch was launched on Friday, the actual pieces are not on sale yet but will be available in October. They were, however, taking reservations and the husband left his name and contact numbers. I bugged him about how the watch looks like and he’s not too impressed because the face has no school name or anything SSC about it except for the color. I got curious and Googled an image:

Only 500 pieces will be sold and each is priced at P3500 (~$80USD). Swatch/Gift Gate will donate part of the proceeds to the St. Scholastica’s College, Manila’s Corazon C. Aquino Professorial Scholarship Seat. If you were in my shoes, will you buy one?
